What 007 First Light Is and When You Can Play It

007 First Light is being developed by IO Interactive, the studio best known for the Hitman series. The game is positioned as an origin story for James Bond rather than an adaptation of any existing film, exploring how the character became MI6's most recognized agent. Pre-orders for the Digital Deluxe Edition unlock access on May 26, three days before the standard launch on May 27.
A Nintendo Switch 2 version has been confirmed but does not yet have a release date. IO Interactive has not announced post-launch content plans, additional editions, or pricing differences between platforms.
