NetEase Q1 revenue reaches $4.31 billion as Where Winds Meet surge on Steam charts
On Thursday, NetEase released its first quarter 2026 financial report. Net revenue reached RMB 30.6 billion ($4.31 billion), up 6.1% year-on-year, while net revenue from games and related value-added services came in at RMB 25.7 billion ($3.62 billion), up 6.9%. The biggest highlight of the quarter was Where Winds Meet (Yan Yun Shi Liu Sheng), which surged back to No. 2 on the global Steam top sellers list after a major update to its overseas version in the first quarter.
Meanwhile, Marvel Rivals climbed to No. 2 on the Steam US top sellers chart. Fantasy Westward Journey Online set a new record with peak concurrent users reaching 3.9 million, according to NetEase. [TechNode reporting]
