Pokémon Winds and Waves Pricing Tipped By Early German Retail Listing

Pokémon Winds and Waves were recently revealed as the latest versions of Nintendo's mainline creature capture game series, slated for a 2027 launch on the Nintendo Switch 2. Although pricing hasn't been officially announced just yet, the games recently showed up in listings on Amazon Germany, potentially exposing the launch price of the games as €79.99 in the EU, which is the standard price for a Nintendo Switch 2 game in the EU. Typically, a Switch 2 game that launches at €79.99 in the EU will launch at $69.99 in the US, putting this German Amazon listing in line with the usual price of a physical edition. Of course, this is early pricing that has not been confirmed by Nintendo, and admittedly, a lot can change between now and the eventual release of Winds and Waves, but the existence of a $69.99 version of the new Pokémon games suggests that it will follow the standard pricing Nintendo laid out when it announced its price changes not too long ago.
