There are many smartphone brands in the US, such as Apple, Samsung, Motorola, and so on. But out of all these brands, which do customers find the most satisfying? Turns out according to a US survey, Samsung phones ranked the highest in customer satisfaction.

Samsung phones ranked highest in customer satisfaction in the US

This is according to a survey conducted by the ACSI (American Customer Satisfaction Index). They found that out of all the smartphone brands and devices, Samsung phones ranked the highest in customer satisfaction in the US. Samsung also boasted in its press release that the Galaxy S26 Ultra was the top-rated smartphone in Consumer Reports’ ranking.

Based on the survey, it recognized Samsung for “delivering strong performance across key features consumers value most.” This includes reliability, battery life, call quality, ease of use, and design. The survey also found that the highest-rated experiences include phone calls and text messaging.

According to Samsung, “The Galaxy S26 Ultra was designed with those expectations in mind, combining premium hardware with intelligent software optimization, including advanced Galaxy AI features that simplify communication and everyday tasks, powerful all-day battery performance, a premium display design, high-performance camera capabilities optimized for content creation, and seamless multitasking across the Galaxy ecosystem.”

Samsung makes great phones, but…

That being said, it’s hard to deny that Samsung makes great phones. The company churns out flagships that are consistently great. But at the same time, it doesn’t feel like the company is innovating as hard compared to other brands.

For starters, the company’s phones are falling behind in battery life and charging speeds. In 2026 alone, we’ve seen multiple Chinese brands launch phones with massive 10,000mAh batteries. We’ve also seen companies push charging speeds beyond what we’re used to. But for Samsung? They’re still playing it safe.

Cameras are also where Samsung is starting to fall behind. Don’t get us wrong, the Galaxy S26 Ultra takes fantastic photos. However, we can’t help but look at the camera development by companies like OPPO and Vivo and feel like Samsung could try harder. But what do you think? Do you value technological innovations, or do you prefer phones that are consistently reliable?
