Monitors aren’t really something that we upgrade very often. We might buy one and keep it for a few years until it breaks down or if our needs change. However, if you’re in the market for a new monitor, you might be interested to learn that Samsung is bringing its 2026 Odyssey monitors and other displays to the US.

Samsung brings 2026 Odyssey monitors to the US

The Samsung 2026 Odyssey monitors start with the 32-inch Odyssey G8 (G80HS). According to Samsung, they claim that this is the industry’s first 6K gaming monitor. It runs a 6,144 x 3,456 resolution IPS panel at up to 165Hz. Dual Mode drops it to 3K resolution and pushes the refresh rate to 330Hz. The 27-inch Odyssey G8 (G80HF) takes a similar approach at 5K resolution, with 180Hz native or 360Hz in QHD via Dual Mode.

On the OLED side, the 32-inch Odyssey OLED G7 (G73SH) delivers 4K at 165Hz with a 0.03ms response time. The Odyssey OLED G8 (G80SH) is available in 27 and 32-inch sizes, stepping things up to 240Hz at 4K. It also comes with Samsung’s Glare Free coating, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500, and USB-C charging up to 98W. That might be useful if you’re using it to connect to a laptop.

ViewFinity S8 and Movingstyle Essential

Next up we have the updated ViewFinity S8 comes in a 40-inch curved model with 5K2K resolution and up to 144Hz. Thunderbolt 5 handles data transfer and up to 140W device charging, making it a solid pick for creative or productivity work.

Then there’s the new Movingstyle Essential, a 43-inch 4K display on a rolling stand that can pivot, swivel, and tilt. You can wheel it between rooms, which is a nice touch if you don’t want a fixed setup. Built-in Smart TV apps and Samsung Gaming Hub let you stream or play cloud games without a console. It’s exclusive to Samsung.com.

All of the Samsung 2026 Odyssey monitors and displays are available now, with prices starting at $899.99. Now, the good news is that if you’re looking to save a bit of money, you’re in luck. Samsung says that customers that sign up and buy through its website can get $50 off towards their purchase.
